The Jaguar is currently registered and driven. From pictures the car looks real nice but you can't see is that the paint is older and showing signs of age with many chips, lacquer cracked and some lifting paint. Body is solid with only a few areas needing attention. The passenger side of the car was keyed years ago. The car runs and drives. It will need some house keeping items: the calipers hang up a little, speedometer cable is broken , the rubber body moldings are dried and the gas gage is not working. Everything else seems to work and is presentable as is. The car looks fine in its current state but If the car was painted, it would look great with only a little body work. The Jaguar is not a number matching car. The head is correct but the block was replaced 2/2/1962. Also, transmission is not original to the car. My description of the car from the front is, the hood and grill are in very good condition. The front bumper is straight with some minor pitting. Bumper override has a small dent, as does the driver headlight trim ring. The driver front fender is straight and solid. Driver door looks to be straight. The lower insides of both doors look that they had work done many years ago that was not properly done. Rear fender is in good condition with the dog leg needing work. Inside the trunk is solid with a small rust hole on left corner. Trunk lid is in good condition. Rear bumper is slightly pushed in with small dents and scrapes on the overrides. Passenger side rear fender is in good condition with dog leg needing attention. Passenger door has previous body work showing through as does the passenger side lower fender. Rest of fender is straight. Interior carpet, seats, and door panels are in good condition. Dash leather is dried and brittle. Top is in good condition. Frame and wood looks to be good condition. A few items are missing: tools, spare, trunk mat, splash shield, and battery cover. chassis # S830407 S as a prefix indicates a SE model body # F15410 matches body tag engine # V3906-8 head matches replacement engine # LC 16231-8 3.8 motor transmission # JL40310CR number on transmission DA 20694 C20019 I described the car to the best of my ability.
