Here we are selling a… 1964 BALKAN MOTORCYCLE! Produced from 1958-1975 the “Balkan” as far as I know is the only motorcycle ever produced in Bulgaria! I believe this bike is a 1964 (as the serial number starts with a “64”). A 250 2 stroke single that is certainly very similar to the Jawa’s of CZ! This particular bike was a project started by a friend of the seller. As far as he can tell all the parts are there… That being said there is no guarantees that all parts are there. I photographed the big (most important pieces). There is also a lot of misc. hardware etc. that goes with this project. Also if the high bidder wants there is an extra frame and fork that goes with the project. This bike does not have a title, therefore it is being sold “as is”, as a project, and only with a bill of sale. As you can see in the photographs there has been a lot of work done on this bike! The bottom end has been rebuilt, it’s been painted, and the cylinder has been honed, etc. etc… The seller is starting this bike with an extremely realistic starting bid.
