Titled 71, Series one 240Z 7/70 production VIN 7768, odometer shows 92k original miles. 320 miles on fresh rebuild. Resto refresh. All body work done, small rust removed and replaced, new paint, new chrome bumpers, marker lights, turn signals, new body rubber, including quarter windows, rear window (vertical defrosters) and windshield, complete urethane bushing kit (Energy suspension), new KYB gas adjust shocks. Lots of powder coating including, grill, cross member, raccoon metal (around tail lights) etc, some new cad plated parts under the hood too, (gas cap, clamps, brackets, and hood hardware hinges etc), chrome "2400" valve cover, NO CRACKS in original dash! Not a dash cap. New badging all around, Datsun, 240Z and rear vent grills new. 280ZX factory aluminum wheels (polished) w /new "Z" caps. New loop carpet kit black interior, door panels all good shape, no cuts or holes. Everything works (but the clock and radio, not the original radio) new tool boxes behind the seats (plastic) later model seats with forward spring (I wanted to get to the back without opening the rear deck). Number match L24 engine rebuilt by Top Tech motor sports w/mild street cam and header, (320 miles on rebuilt engine), new gear reduction starter, car sounds and runs great! 4 speed tranny. New plugs and tune up, runs great and fast! Lots of extra time spent on this car, and, the small details. Assembly and mechanical done by Altered Motives in Tigard OR certified Nissan mechanic. Over 22K invested, have receipts for all work done six years to put together. Minor issues, body shop lost original door locks, so it takes 2 keys to open and lock everything. Small (one inch tear in headliner) lots of pix upon request thru all phases of resto. Fun car to drive! Summer is coming and is a real head turner. For sale or possible trade.
