I'm 64 years old and have been lucky to own many fast vehicles--Ford Lightning, modified GMC Syclone, Dodge Stealth Twin Turbo, two Evo MRs, a Honda S2000, and most recently this JCW Mini. This Mini has the smallest engine and the least power of any of the vehicles just mentioned but surprisingly is the fastest vehicle through ordinary traffic I've ever had. And that is why I am selling it. I love it but if I keep it any longer I'm going to lose my license. After several years without tickets this little demon has brought me 2 tickets in just the 10 weeks that I've had it and been driving it. Something about it brings out the hooligan in me. My wife says its all in my right foot but I think the car eggs me on--it just likes to have fun. There is nothing wrong with the car. It is mechanically and cosmetically perfect. No door dings or scratches, interior excellent. Real leather, not the commonplace Mini leatherette. John Cooper Works engine, 18" JCW wheels with expensive run-flats in very good condition. Stainless steel JCW exhaust. Full panoramic sliding sunroof--like being in a convertible with the huge lid back and the windows down. Already very good Harmon Kardon sound system has been upgraded with the addition of a Boss powered sub (see pics) and replacement of the stock head unit with a top-line Dual unit giving you iPod and USB connectivity in front, HD radio and built-in Bluetooth phone pairing (mic in head unit and calls play thru speakers, one-button call accept/hang up on head unit). I got car with optional Mini driving lights but they were rusting and I replaced them with new Hella driving lights mounted on the optional Mini grille mount hardware. Both remote keys and manual. Kelly Blue Book "excellent" retail value is $18,345 and private party is $16,345 with no accounting for the driving lights or sound system upgrades.
