This is a very rare truck - Dodge released the Little Red Express Truck in 1978 and 1979 only - this matching #s little red express is one of 5118 made in 1979 it was the most unique dodge truck ever produced - Because of a loop hole in the emissions regulations the 1979 Little Red Express Truck did not have catalytic converters, what the little express did have was a special high performance 360 C.I 4 barrel. The package also included Hemi style mufflers with a crossover pipe breathing through two chrome stacks located behind the cab, also a special 727 transmission and 3.51:1 sure grip rear end To make it the fastest 1979 American made vehicle from 0-100 mph as tested by car and driver. (Yes it beat the Corvettes too!) This Little Red Express Truck was all redone in 1998 only driven on weekends and always kept inside (No Rust!) Still looks and drives great!
