THIS IS A 3 DAY NO RESERVE AUCTION!!!!! This is a 1968 VW Baja Bug, it is a fully set up off road car from Southern California built by the famous Cook Brothers Off Road Race Team . It has a new 1914 engine that has one weekend (about 10 hours) on it and maybe 100 street miles (I use it for a "grocery getter"). It has a FULL ROLL CAGE from front to back, it is more like a tube chassis built into the car. The transmission has wide axles, Close ratio gears, Super Diff, heavy duty side plate. It works perfectly. The shifter that is in the car now is stock because I was teaching my daughter how to drive a stick and that shifter is more forgiving than the racing shifter, which i have and is included with the car. It has heavy duty torsion bars (pretty sure they are Sway a Way's) with adjusters in the front and Heavy Duty Spring Plates in the rear with Adjusters. The Shocks are Fox 2.0 in the front and dual Fox 2.0's and KYB gas a just on the rear. It has KC Off Road Lights and well as ALL WORKING driving and brake lights, turn signals, emergency flashers and hi/low beam. The car was recently certified by a California brake and light inspection station for the DMV. All Brakes are in good working order (remember,I let my teenage daughter drive the car ) and the parking brake works as well. It has very nice and comfortable seats that the sliders work and recline as well (until the cage stops them) and 4 point seat belt/harness. It has a over size fuel tank that holds close to 30 gallons. It also has a heavy Duty Front Bumper and Front and Rear Heavy Duty Skid Plates. Alternator with Racing Fan Shroud. Chrome sheet metal. Studded valve cover with breather/filter system. Transmission; 4 Speed, with close ratio gears, wide axles, Super Diff and Heavy Duty Side Plate. Full Pro built Roll Cage Fox 2.0 shocks in front fox 2.0 and KYB shocks in Rear Heavy duty torsion bars with adjusters in front and Heavy Duty Spring Plates in Rear With Adjusters.
