I bought it about two years ago from a man in Georgia that had repainted it and added new wheels and runningboard. The chassis and engine and frame numbers match. He said the interior was in original condition. The repainting was done professionally and all rubber seals and gaskets were removed and replaced during the painting process. There is no overspray. And only an expert could look at it thoroughly and tell that it had been repainted. The previous owner said the car was totally original from one owner when he bought it 5 years ago with about 7,000 miles on the odometer (most probably 107,000) with no rust or body repair. The horizontal part of the rear bumper appears to have been replaced by a non-3 coat chrome plating, because as you can see that has gone from perfect shiny to having surface rust. That is the only part of any of the chrome bumpers, front or back, that has an issue. I have driven it approximately 2,800 miles over the past 2 years. It starts and runs perfectly. The engine, transmission or exhaust needs nothing. I have cleaned the headliner and it is original. I have had the generator rebuilt. I also added a dash radio that looks retro but has modern features like I-Pod connection. It’s hard to think of everything to say here so please feel free to call or write with any questions.
