NEW LOWER PRICE willing to negotiate Up for sale is a 1979 Firebird Black Espirt VIN 2T87W9N161225 Engine and Transmission 455 Big block Olds Motor, Heads milled 0.010 , Headers, 650 Holley Double Pumper carb. 3" Exhaust up to mufflers (Tail pipes needs to be finished) . 3.73 Rear End, Mild Cam, Edlebrock intake, Motor was rebuilt in 1992, I have receipts from owner before me) it has approx 100,000 miles on the body. 3 speed Automatic Transmission (T-350) Filter and Fluid was changed approx 5 years ago. New fuel pump 2009 New water pump 2009 Radiator recored, New Hoses Wheels & Tires Cragar 5 spoke 15” Chrome rims all around: Front 215/65R15 FireHawk Indy 500 tires new last year Rear 275/60R15 Goodyear Eagle GT2 - new a few years ago 50% tread left There is some surface rusting and pitting on the rims. Exterior The Car is now black, was painted 8 years ago, the car was originally red. The car does have some cosmetic flaws, Some chipping around the edges here and there. The hood has some cover rub from being stored. There is a dent by the driver side spoiler is some chips and spider webbing cracks in the paint. There are a few little spots of surface rust on driver side lower fender(See Picture) The car is very solid, no rot in the door jams, trunk or trunk jams or floor panels Never driven in the winter Interior The interior has been reupholstered. New Carpet, new headliner and front and rear seats have also been reupholstered . Interior paneling was originally red, it was painted with interior black car paint, some spots have sun faded and chipped off. Dashboard panel has been replaced with a stainless swirl panel instead of the wooden paneling. ( Speedo was replaced by a higher mile per hour one, I have clean title with no lien ready to sign over. I have shroud that is cut ready to be welded at 2” Scoop will need to be repainted. There is no Radio in the car, CD player needs to be installed. Car runs a little rich it needs to be tuned once exhaust and cowl is complete, now but is 100% drivable Final Detail This car is not a Trans am or Formula, The hood and shaker scoop are off a 1979 trans am from PA. This car would make a great project or can be driven right away I am selling because I have lost interest in the car and want to move on to other projects.
