BLACK MERCEDES 380 SL CONVERTIBLE NO RESERVE AUCTION I bought this car from a dealer over a year ago and it has been sitting in my garage ever since. The dealer stated they had taken the car on trade from an elderly gentlemen. I removed the hard top and opened the black soft top. To my surprise the top looked like new, in fact I think it could be the first time it was opened. The interior has some fading and a good size tear in the drivers seat, but overall presentable and could use a good cleaning. The door sill covers appear to be aftermarket but look OK. The paint looks good after washing and should shine up nice but has its share of imperfections including a good size ding in the drivers fender and a rust spot on the rocker panel. An aftermarket stereo has been installed and the blower motor works. I have only driven the car up and down the block a few times so all I can tell you is that it starts, runs, drives, and shifts. I am sure the car needs a few things both cosmetic and mechanical, but these cars are hard to find with under 100K miles in this condition. Please contact me with any questions.
