1972 Ford Ltd Convertible. Roughly 4,400 made in 1972. Last year for the full size ford convertible. This car has the optional 429 engine with a 4bbl carb and auto transmission. The Car runs great and does smoke a little. It could be used for your 429 cobra jet project! It is original to the vehicle and runs great. I purchased the car in 2007 in South Carolina and drove it home 12 hours, without a problem. The floors and frame are excellent and have the original black paint on them. There is not any thick undercoating. The paint job was done very poorly and looks terrible. The body is rust free, but the previous owner took the moldings off and filled all the holes with bondo and did not block sand anything, making it look very bad. The pictures make it look good but it is wavey and a bad paint job. I still bought it because it is very rust free and runs great. The transmission leaks fluid and the seats are old. The right rear window motor needs replacing and the top is ripped There is a star chip from a stone on the windshield as pictured. I have looked at many of these cars and they were always rusted out badly. This LTD is clean. The options the car has is power windows, power locks, power seat, Air conditioning ( not working) and duel exhaust. The vehicle runs and drives and I would not be afraid to drive it anywhere. There original color is maroon and white seats. It looks brown now. I have the reserve very low and will answer any questions you have. There is NO warrantee and will help you any way I can!
