For those of you that may not know, Ford stopped selling the Crown Vic Police Interceptor in March, 2011 to make way for the new front wheel drive Taurus based patrol car, these Crown Vic Police Interceptors are already becoming a highly sought after used car. A little about this car, I was told this cruiser was a Constables car and was meticulously maintained. I was also told in about one year he only put about 15,000 miles on it and traded the car in for a 2009 Hemi Charger. Out of 100 Ford Crown Vic P71's Interceptors you may find 2-3 in this nice of condition. This car only has 20,619 pampered miles on it, the car still looks and drives like new. I am a private party and not a car dealer. Most P71's are old department car's offered for sale by dealers that purchased them at auction and have lots of "HARD POLICE MILEAGE" (many departments run there cars around the clock 24/7. This was definitely not the case with this cruiser. A few options this car has that most P71's don't is like new beautiful carpeting, not the rubber floor like most have and she also has the optional cloth rear seat, not the vinyl one. This car also has the optional SIDE airbags. The rear doors and windows open from the front AND THE REAR, many P71's do not. The car also has a 8-way power seat control option and I've had a Ford factory original OEM AM/FM MP3 stereo radio installed in place of the original AM/FM radio and it is awesome, an MP3 CD with 250 of your favorite songs will play forever, well almost forever, and this radio whole's six CD's at once, I hardly ever change a CD now. Another thing is 95% of P71's come in blah white, this car is the most sought after color, black which is a rare color to come across, especially in the condition this car is in. I'll tell you something about driving this car, on the road it gets plenty of RESPECT, people look at the car and say, ah ha, I know who that is. They never ever pass you on a highway and will always slow down when you come up on them. When police officers pass they usually give you a wave or salute you. I've even gotten a free cup of coffee at Dunkin Donuts drive through (although I did offer to pay). The car also has a computer stand plus light and siren control panel (sorry no working lights or sirens its against the law) but it does have that official look without breaking any laws) By the way the pictures show my Dell laptop with GPS which are NOT included in the auction. I have a clear clean no lien title in hand, so I'm all ready to do business on this end. The car starts and drives beautifully. This vehicle is equipped with the P71 Police package, which includes heavy-duty springs, sway bars, 17 inch steel wheels, dual exhaust, ABS brakes, optional driver’s side spotlight and much much more. The wheels are black powder coated with chrome Ford dog dish Police center caps. The tires are specialty Eagle 17" RS-A PLUS 150 mph speed rated tires. This cars power plant is a High-Output 4.6L SOHC V8 with Performance Improved (PI) cylinder heads and intake, this engine makes additional horsepower over previous years due to its updated design (I believe it is Ford rated @250 horsepower). The engine is backed by a high performance automatic transmission with overdrive, which makes this car is pretty darn quick. The car has the kevlar trunk pack, color keyed body side moldings has two extra rear deck red lights which are NOT hooked up but do give it that "official look". The paint is shiny and is in really nice condition. I have a good friend that also has a Crown Vic p71 which was a Connecticut State Police take home car and when my car is next to his, mine looks like it just came out of the showroom. The engine starts and runs like new. Mileage is pretty good for a full size rear wheel drive car with a V-8 and all that power (about 18-25). By the way to the best of my knowledge this car has never been smoked in, I don't smoke and the ash tray looks brand spanking new, also since I have owned the car it has been garage kept. The car also has an after market center console which has lots of storage and additional cup holders that come in handy (also a great place to rest your right arm). There are no plugs in this cars roof or trunk from antennas being removed. I have only put a little over 5000 miles on the car since I have owned it and have changed the engine oil twice, Mobil-1 synthetic, I believe that oil changes are the most important thing you can do to maintain a cars engine life. The front brake pads were changed a few months back and I have also just had the tranny pan down for a new filter and fluid. I've attached over 100 photos for your viewing pleasure.
