You are bidding on a 1972 Mercedes 300SEL with the 4.5 V8 motor, only 2 owners! 41,000 original miles! The original owner died in 1999, and the second owner bought it from a estate sale and only put 5,000 miles since then. I do have a old receipt from 10 years ago with 36,000 miles on it. No records from the original owner. Interior in near showroom condition! The seats are real leather with no cracks or tears. The light bulbs on the intrument cluster are burned out. The turns signals do not work, I believe it has a bad relay. No radio. All power windows work. The HVAC control knobs are broken but I have a new one that goes with the car not installed. The exterior seems to have been painted about 15 years ago, according to the second owner, not the greatest job but decent. All the chrome is there with no rust! This car has no rust! Runs and drives perfect! I had this Mercedes up to 90mph and it rides like its suppose to. The hydraulic suspension is original and in good working order! Original hubcaps! No cracks in the dash!
