Vehicle Detail

Up for auction I have a great running 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix GT. I have had this car for two years and have had very few problems out of it. It has the ever popular 3.8 liter V6 engine under the hood. Some say this is the best engine GM ever built and I tend to agree with them! It has plenty of power and take off speed. Below I will list the good and the not as good about this used car. Thanks for looking! The Good: This car runs and drives great; It has all the options for the most part including a sliding powered sunroof heads up display (shows your speed, radio station etc projected out in front of you) leather seats (the drivers seat is a powered seat with all the options of lumbar up, down etc... it is also heated!), steering wheel radio controls. The air and the heat work well,. which features dual control for both driver and passenger. There is also an outside temperature display. The tires have about 50% tread life. It shifts smoothly, and rides very well going down the road. The biggest positive has to be the gas mileage. For the engine size this car gets great mileage. It does about 25+ MPG on the highway, and about 21 MPG around town. This car kelley blue books at around 3000 dollars for a private party sell... My reserve is well below that! The Not As Good: The ABS light comes on and off (its been doing this since I bought it two years ago with no adverse affect on vehicles performance) Also the service engine soon light also comes on and off. I have been told by my mechanic that it is a sensor. There is a slight vibration in the front end when the car is going around 50 (could be a flat place on the tire). And there is a hole in the exhaust which makes the car sound like a V8... As for the cosmetics there are a few dents and dings on the car which is not uncommon for a car with 165,000 miles... There is a body molding that came off on one of the rear passenger doors. I still have the molding so it can be put back on. Those are the known issues with the car. Overall It is a great running car that is a joy to drive!
