Vehicle Detail

My wife and I are selling our prize possession. We are the second owners of this 1965 Ford Mustang (it's true, we have the original purchase order and the title transfer to prove it). This car is beautiful and is only a few steps away from show condition. The pictures mostly speak for themselves, but I'll try to hit the high points: First, the good: Original engine, transmission, factory air conditioning, original color, etc. This car is almost exactly like it was the day it rolled off the assembly line. We have added some modern upgrades discreetly to make it more fun to drive. The car has keyless entry with two clickers, the actuators were professionally installed and hidden inside the doors. If you were entering the car in a show, they would never know you have a clicker for it. The car has a state of the art alarm system tied to the keyless entry. We also had cigarrette lighter power points installed and hidden inside the ashtray. This is a "numbers matching" car. The original factory air conditioning works FANTASTIC, it will freeze you out. It was converted to 134A a decade ago. The factory power steering works great. The heads were rebuilt and outfitted for unleaded gas years ago. The paint is perfect. The car has been meticulously maintained and runs great. Starts every time and runs well. All work in the last couple of decades has been done by Colorado Mustang Specialists. All gaskets have been replace in the last 6 months to insure no leaks, ALL GASKETS. This is the most amazing part, we have every repair receipt, part receipt, oil change receipt, etc. since 1965. EVERY ONE OF THEM. I believe this may be the most well-documented classic car you'll ever find. We have the original window sticker, sales order, owner's manual, shop repair manual, etc. I included pictures of one repair receipt from 1965, just to provide an example, but there are hundreds. This car is a beautiful piece of history. Now, stuff that needs attention: The car is starting to show rust around the wheel wells, normal for this model if you know classic mustangs. My son backed another one of our vehicles into the driver's side of the front bumper and bent it up a little. The antenna is missing. There is a small tear in the driver's seat. The original owner cut the dash and installed an 8 track player back in the 70's, so the radio is not original. We went ahead and upgraded it to a modern stereo with USB, Ipod input, and remote control. There are two small high quality speakers installed and hidden up under the dash facing down. I'm sure there will be a ton of questions I haven't thought to answer, feel free to email and I'll try to respond quickly. Ebay only allows me to upload 24 pictures. I have tons. Email me and I'll be happy to send them to you. If you purchase, we will deliver the car locally to a shipping company of your choosing at no charge if needed. There may not be another car like this out there, and if there is they don't come up for sale often. Help us send our son to college, bid early and often. Thank you.
