Here in this listing I have a 2000 Hyuandai Elantra wagon GLS. It is NOT the preatiest car in the world, but it runs great. It is a perfect commuter car for someone looking to get from point A to B with NO problems. We all need a car that gets GREAT gas mileage with the gas prices today!! And this one gets 36MPG. It runs great. The car has NO major problems. It has a brand new battery, new front brakes, all the fluids where just changed. It just passed NYS inspection with flying colors. The engine runs great and sounds good. It does have a slight exhaust leak by the exhaust manifold. It is never bothered me and isn't that bad so I never fixed it. It does not effect anything. The transmission shifts perfect and has never had any problems. The interior of the car is in good shape. NO rips or tears. The are a few stains here and there but nothing that will not come out with a good cleaning. The car was never smoked in. Just kids throwing things around like juice boxes!! LoL. Now for the bad part. The car has dings and scratches all over it. It all can be cleaned up and touched up to be presentable. I can do that if you want but didn't want to touch things up and hide anything from anyone. There is NO rot. It has one small surface rust spot on the drivers side passenger door(see pic). The hood has some dents and creases by the 2 corners.The car has never been in an accident. Just fender benders with nyc parking and parking lots. There is one spot on the passenger side quarter that was bumped and touched up before I got the car. Like I said earlier this is a perfect commuter car or train car for someone that doesn't care what it looks like. Again it doesn't look that bad. Just trying to be as honest as I can. The car does not need anything it just needs a new driver and owner. Get some touch up paint and spray can for the bumpers it will look really good. The car has a clean carfax report and is very low miles(73,000) It has a clean title. I am not a dealer but it does come with dealer papers. I buy cars for people through auto auctions for a hobby. I usally only buy collector cars, but a friend wanted this car for a work car and then got laid off so he didn't need it right now and I got stuck with it. Oh well. It is a good car and just needs a new home. The car is ready to go. I took plenty of pics so please check them all.
