It has 4 wheel drive AND it gets 30-32 MPG no matter where you drive city or hightway. When I purchased this vehicle I bought the best Ford ESP Premium Care extended warranty. It is good through Jan 2014 or 84,000 miles. Please Google Ford ESP Premium Care Warranty for details on what is covered. It is basically bumper to bumper. Mechanical - This vehicle runs and drives like new - everything works great. It is mechanically perfect. The tires were replaced last year (Michelins). It was recently inspected and still has over 60% of its brake pads remaining. It has been extremely reliable. Interior - The interior of this Escape is in very good condition. It does have some wear on the seats on the outboard area. Typical for leather seats of this vintage. It also has a scratch on the driver door panel. Everything inside works great. I have added a AUX jack to hook up an IPOD. It has the NAV system, but I do not have the NAV discs. You can get them on Ebay for $80. Also, there rear carpeted cargo area has some stains that are really hard to see (very dark carpet and very dark stains). I couldn't get them to show up in photos. Exterior - The exterior of this Escape is in very good condition. I don't believe this car has ever been in an accident or painted. Everything is straight and clean. The body has no dings or dents. The front and rear bumpers have accumulated some scratches over the years. The original owner had a front plate on the car, I took it off, but the holes are still present. I think the lower cladding has some chips. Overall this is a great vehicle that gets excellent fuel economy and can go anywhere. This vehicle belongs to a family member, but I drive it every day.
