Vehicle Detail
355 CID 4 bolt main, TRW forged pistons, Trickflow Twisted Wedge 64cc aluminum heads, Fluidamper harmonic damper, Cloyes timing chain/gear set, Isky camshaft 280° duration (232° at 0.050 lift), Rhoads no pump-up lifters, 1.6 ratio roller rockers providing 0.517” valve lift., Edelbrock Victor Jr. Intake, 750 cfm Edelbrock performer carburetor, K&N air filter, Mallory electric fuel pump, Holley Annihilator digital ignition and coil, MSD timing computer, MSD distributor, Taylor Pro series 8mm plug wires. Hooker super competition headers with custom bent dual exhaust (no catalytic converters). 5 speed Super duty T5 manual transmission bought brand new, 4.10 rear axle ratio, Richmond ring and pinion, Auburn limited slip carrier, Cragar SS/T wheels with BF Goodrich T/A Radial tires. Paint is GM Radar blue, looks purple and switches to blue in the light. Paint job is decent but is not showcar quality and has imperfections, chips, and dings. The body is solid and never had much rust, even in 1997 before the rebuild. I was told that it was originally from Tennessee but I don't know that for sure. The front grill and hood is from a Pontiac Sunbird. I have been told that these cars did not come from the factory with wrap around tail lights and rear marker lights (just one or the other). If this is true, I have no explanation, it was like that when I got it. The driver's side exterior door handle is cracked but still functional. The rear quarter glass trim is from a Buick Skyhawk. Interior is also not showcar quality, but it is all there and in fairly good shape. The driver’s side seat has a tear (approximately 6” long) on the bottom portion. Pioneer radio/CD player. 160 MPH Speedometer and matching Tachometer. Power brakes and power steering, No Air conditioning. The listed mileage of 5,500 is since it was rebuilt in 1997. The actual mileage is unknown but is more than likely over 100,000. If you are looking for a numbers matching car then this one is not for you. If you're looking for a light, fast, fun car with a lot of power that looks good and can be driven without any work, then it just might be.I also have many extras that are NOT included but can be negotiated for. They include but are not limited to extra doors (both sides), fenders (both sides), hood, front bumper, gas tank, back seat, misc chrome trim, grill inserts, misc other. Please send me a note if you'd like to see the car in person in Creston or Wooster, Ohio. I would be happy to show the car before you bid. A non-refundable paypal deposit of $200 is due within 48 hours of auction's end. The remainder of the payment is due within 7 days of auctions end in the form of cash. I will accept a cashier's check or bank check, but I won't release the car until said check clears. I really do prefer cash. I will not arrange for shipment of the car, this is the buyers responsibility. If you have questions feel free to ask. I will usually respond within the day.
