Get ready for spring!!! Up for auction is a superb example of the best of everything BMW has to offer. This rare Topaz Blue Metallic beauty will make your heart go pitter patter. There is nothing quite like the feel of the wind rushing by as you cruise down a scenic road to the sound and feel of all that a finely crafted German automobile has to offer. You only live once, some experiences just should not be missed. You would be hard pressed to find a better example with finer accoutrements anywhere on the planet. This 2001 Z3 Roadster is loaded to the gills with every option you could get in that year. This car is clean as an operating room and unmolested. I runs FLAWLESSLY!!! I mean it, turn the key and drive this car anywhere. I have owned a lot of vehicles over the years and it takes a lot to impress me but this little gem pushes all my buttons. The 3.0 liter motor is great proof of years of fine tuning by our friends across the pond. It does everything with precision and reliability. I recently had it serviced and tuned and it received rave reviews from the staff at the shop. The plugs were changed and all systems reviewed. The factory 5 speed is smooth and crisp in its duties. Power can be a little daunting if the go pedal is smooshed but with traction control it manages to tame itself. Turn off this feature though and I am sure you would have plenty of power to get sideways and silly in a hurry. I have never explored this venue to fruition but it is nice to know it’s there in a pinch. This Z3 has never been in an accident according to the previous owner, myself and carfax. It still has all it’s factory vin tags on all the panels to prove this point. The Topaz Blue Metallic base/ clear paint job still shine like new and despite a few, professionally airbrushed, small rock chips it passes inspection. The Power top is in near perfect condition and the rear window is clean and clear. The wheels are very very nice and the tires are new with less than a 1000 miles on them. The brakes are excellent as is the exhaust system. All the glass is excellent and the trunk is like new. Headlights and other lights are clear and work like new. The car has Keyless entry with an alarm system. The leather interior is accented with Topaz Blue accents and is beautiful. There is no wear except for a very small amount on the bolster of the drivers seat but really not enough to mention, no holes, just light wear. The interior was ordered with M trim so the steering wheel and shifter have the high performance flair. The stereo is the business class CD and works well with it’s Harmon Kardin speakers. The carpet is like new. All in all this car has what you are looking for. Unmolested and adult driven and always dealer maintained. No issues, no stories just a rock solid piece of German automobilia. If you have been looking for a drop top that begs to be driven you have found your car.
