Vehicle Detail
Here's the scoop folks: I had listed this car last fall, and again a few weeks ago. I am listing it for an ebay client/friend. This car was her husbands. We had no idea of monetary value. After showing it to some folks, and talking with a few more, she has decided to list it with a best offer option, and will consider "reasonable" offers. 1969 Ford Mustang Convertible VIN 9F03F134925 Body – 76A Convertible Standard Color – C – Black Jade Metallic (original); now Wimbledon White Trim – 2Y – Nugget Gold Vinyl (original); now Black standard interior Date – 05M – Manufacture date December 05, 1968 (all new models started manufacturing in September of previous year). D.S.O. – Lansing, Michigan – Pretty cool that this car was made in Detroit and sold to a dealership in Lansing. Axle – 2.79:1 gear ratio; basic standard axle (not a posi or Detroit Locker) Trans – C4 automatic transmission Engine – 302 V8 – 220HP Options – Power Steering, Std interior passenger clock, remote mirrors (reference – Mustang Red Book; Fourth Edition) Only 11,307 (76A) convertibles were produced out of 299,824 total mustangs made in 1969 (3.77% were 76A convertibles). Fairly rare. The body and VIN are numbers matching. The engine block is original to the car as well as the transmission with modifications as listed below... Modifications: Holley 4V with Vacuum secondary’s and electric choke Wieland High Rise Intake Chrome valve covers and air cleaner Headers with chrome side pipes exhaust BF Goodrich TA Radials with Western aluminum rims 114,000 miles on the car, 65,000 on the motor. Summary: Good RestoMod condition. The doors shut excellent showing the body and frame are well fitted. The overall condition of the interior is good. The original radio has been removed and an aftermarket unit installed along with rear panel mounted speakers. The condition of the rag top is in very good condition. No rips and is well fitted. The overall condition is good to very good . This is an excellent daily driver or weekend cruiser. With minimal work and parts this vehicle could be restored back it’s original condition if desired. The original exterior and interior color combination are unique. If fully restored to original condition with N.O.S. parts this vehicle would be valued at approximately $35,000. Please feel free to email with any questions you have..we will do our best to answer. The car is for sale locally and we reserve the right to end the auction at any time. PAYMENT: A non refundable paypal payment of 500.00 must be made within 3 days of the close of the auction (unless other arrangements are made in advance)..the balance due on pick up.
