1973 Volvo 145e Up For auction is a great driving classic ‘73 Volvo Wagon. Would make a great 1st car. Simple and safe Fuel injected, Automatic, power steering, AC (blows cold), 4 wheel power disc brakes Averages about 20mpg in the city. Car has just over 320k miles, engine has been rebuilt once prior to me purchasing the car. Does not use any oil or smoke, runs excellent. Car is in great condition. Everything works except for the driver rear window does not roll down. Interior is in very good shape, only 2 very small tears in upholstery, dash has some cracks, but is covered with a nice looking dash cover. Some small areas of rust, worst being the spare tire well. But nothing that needs to be addressed if using it for a driver. Would make a great candidate for a “driving resto” I purchased it as a spare car, and it simply sits so I would rather see it go to someone who will use it. Would not hesitate to jump in it and drive cross country as it sits. Only driving issue, is a slight intermittent driveline vibration caused by a worn rear suspension bushing. In the last year I have added the following. 90% Kumho Solus tires, on Volvo 780 factory alloys. Factory steel wheels are included. IPD 1” front sway bar Addco 7/8” rear sway bar Factory roof rack is removed (holes plugged with well nuts and stainless hardware), but all parts are included.
