Up for auction is a very nice 2005 Chevrolet SSR with only 28,990 highway miles that I am selling for my father. It has the great 6.0 liter engine rated at 390 H.P. with an auto transmission. The color is black with a black leather interior. The interior of the bed is the basic black plastic liner. For condition, the engine runs great with no problems; he put a K+N air filter system on it for better gas mileage on the highway. The factory system goes with the car. The body is great, especially for a black car. It was always waxed by hand so there are no swirl marks in it from power buffing. As with a 6 year old car there are a few stone chips on the front, minor chips on the rear bumper near the tailgate and the typical scuff marks on the running boards from getting in and out. I did not see any door dings on the sides. There is also a small scratch on a back wheel as shown in a picture. Not to be nit-picky but I want to be detailed. The interior is also in great condition with no rips or stains. The Bose CD player works fine as does the A-C. The top system works fine also. The only flaw with the interior is that the drivers door panel lining is slightly pulled away from the backing as shown in a picture, the color looks faded but the black is fine. My picture is washed out in the sun. The only thing the car will need in the next year is maybe tires, the front tread is down to 3/16, the rear down to 1/8. We will also include the optional trailer hitch that was used to move a small rubber boat around by my father. He actually bought 2 of these new in Florida and brought this on up here to CT. to use in the summer when he was traveling between Maine and CT... The only reason we are selling it because he is fed up with CT taxes and is selling everything we have in this state. This is just a fun car with no stories or excuses!!
