this car was from california,it is very solid,definatly needs a custom paint job to finish this toy. has a solid body to work from with some small rust from scratches and scrapes,has chrome wheels with real good tread,has four wheel disc brakes which any vw owner will tell you is a awsome feature, i drove this car all last summer runs perfect and gets awsome, awsome gas millage.the only mechanical thing i noticed was if you stomp on it in second it sometimes pops out.i dont know if its from the hurst shifter because it has avery short shift pattern.the car will take you anywhere you want to go. i will throw in the rubber seals and fender beading. the deck lid is removed but i have it , no sterio , this is about the most solid 66 youll find just paint and youll have a very valuable vw, the interior is great . the seatbelts are all new, this car is fun to drive,lots of power, im putting a low reserve because its time to sell some toys. good luck bidding
