You are bidding on my 1971 Buick Skylark Custom 2 door hardtop. This car was bought new and always has remained in Sunny Dry California. It still wears it’s original blue and yellow license plates from 1971. Please read the following description of my Skylark. MECHANICS:. This car is powered by it’s original 350 cu in. 2bbl engine, with turbo-hydramatic transmission. Power steering, Power(drum) brakes, Factory air conditioning, which blows cold. This car starts, runs, drives , and stops very well. Has lots of power for a 350 2BBL, and cruises down the freeway effortlessly. Does not leak anything. Puffs a little smoke at initial start up, but that’s it. Would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere. BODY: This is a super solid , dry rust free Calif car. Previous owner had a new vinyl top installed and it looks great. No bubbling anywhere. He had primered over the faded paint. I can not stand to drive a primered car, so I had Macco give it a quickie re-spray in white. (orig color of the car was Gold) Paint is very presentable, but is not show quality. Once again, body is very solid and rust free. Doors, hood, and truck open and close very nice. CHROME. Bumpers are all original and straight, but chrome is getting thin, OK for a driver, but wont win any shows. GLASS: Glass is all good and windows roll up and down fine INTERIOR: Seats, carpets, and door panels are all new and look great. Dash pad is good. Someone installed a new headliner, and it look greats, but some of the trim pieces are missing. ELECTRONICS: All lights, gauges and accessories work well. AC blows cold. Original radio was gone when I got the car. Has an aftermarket CD/stereo installed in dash, with speakers installed in package tray. Heater core started leaking, so I by-passed it, but have a new core to go with car. WHEELS AND TIRES: Has factory steel 14” Rally Wheels with orig trim rings and center caps. Kind of a rare factory steel wheel you don’t see very often. Has a very good set of BF Goodrich TA raised white lettered radials. EXHAUST: Has a nice pair of flowmasters with new tailpipes . Car sounds very healthy. CONCLUSION: Here is a very nice driver quality Calif. Rust free car. It is not a $20K car, but a bargain at my "buy it now "price (IMO).
