I have a 1965 Ford Mustang, Four Speed, 2+2 Fastback, 289 with Edelbrock High Rise Manifold, Holley 4 barrel and headers. The following is a bit of history on the car that I have knowledge of.This car originally came from Deer Lodge, Montana in 1983. It was purchased by a man in Darby, Montana. This man said he restored the car from 1983 to 1986, parked it in a garage, covered it for 13 years, putting 1,200 miles on it during those 13 years. He said he reset the odometer to -0- after restore. I was told the engine and transmission are original. The car was originally gold in color. I purchased the car in June of 1999 and have since put 22,200 miles on it. The engine and transmission seem strong and I really enjoy driving it. Since owning this car I have had the following done: new water pump, replaced ball joints and control arm shaft, new front brake rotors and calipers, replaced entire clutch package and resurfaced flywheel, bought new wheels (I also have original four mustang wheels), new bearings and gears in rear-end, new rear leaf springs and shackles u-joints, new brake wheel cylinders, new axle seals and bearings. (All maintenance records I have had done are available.)This is a non smoker vehicle. As you can see in the pictures, a new paint job is in order. I think someone could put a little into this car and it would be in tip top shape.
