This auction is for a 2008 chevy crew cab pick-up. It was a trailer salesmans vehicle and are all highway miles occasionally pulling a sold utility or snowmobile trailer to a dealership. The truck uses a quart of oil per 1000 miles and has done this for a couple of months. We took it to a local Chevy dealer, they said one piston had a little less pressure than the other ones. They were thinking that possibly the cam shaft may be flaking in that spot. I also called another local dealership and they said that it was not uncommon for that motor to use some oil. The truck is very clean, was never smoked in, and always had regular services. I think the passanger mirror has an issue with the power adjust,( you can move it manually), and the stable track light sometimes comes on. This is a no reserve auction, this vehicle will sell. I am not sure if the engine will last 100 miles or 100,000 more miles with the engine using oil but it ran perfectly all this last winter. This is an as is auction and I am putting all I know about the truck in this listing as I would like to maintain my poitive feedback.
