Vehicle Detail

For sale is my 2000 Lincoln LS V8. This car has been in the family since new. My sister took it over from her father in law and then I took over for my sister a couple of years ago. The car is in excellent condition. It has 129K original miles, has never been in an accident, and everything is original on this car. The car is fully loaded with leather, sunroof, climate control, CD changer, heated seats and 260HP V8 engine. The body is in excellent shape. It has a minor dent in the front quarter panel, a minor dent on the driver’s side door and some scratches here and there, but overall, it is in excellent shape. The interior is in great shape and shows very little signs of its age. The car has been meticulously maintained and I have most of the original maintenance records, including invoices and work orders. Most work was done by the local Lincoln dealer and some parts and labor are still under warranty. The brakes and tires are in excellent condition, all features work as expected and the car is extremely powerful and smooth. It has a valid NJ state inspection until March, 2012. There are a couple of things that can be corrected. The radio works perfectly, but the display does not. It is totally dark. I chose not to replace it since it works perfectly, but if you did, you would need to either get the display serviced or purchase a working unit, which goes for $200 for the original alpine stereo. The buttons that control the trip computer and diagnostics are loose off the housing and that needs to be corrected. The buttons work perfectly, but simply they are a bit inside the dash Over bumps, there is a bit of a noise, and that is very common with the Lincoln and the tie rod ends need to be replaced. It doesn’t bother me at all, but if you wanted to, you should replace them
