Vehicle Detail

2008 Chevrolet Avalanche Black with Black and Gray Leather Loaded with all of the popular options Runs and Drives Great Cold A/C I am listing it with the option of taking a "TRADE". Also, RESERVE IS MUCH LESS THAN I HAVE IN IT. I dont need it and would like to see someone finish it As you can see, it's been hit in the right side, in between the front and rear door. The A pillar is fine, as is the rear of the cab. The B pillar is where the main damage is. It will need a door shell for one door, and you can probably get by with a door skin on the other. The B pillar can be pulled out, or just replaced. Once you straighten the pillar and floor, the doors should hang correctly. I've had a body guy look at it, and he said it's not as bad as it looks. The door panels and glass are still good in both doors, so if you have two door shells, then the rest is the B pillar and floor. The frame doesn't have any damage, except for where something scraped against it in the collision, probably the side step. The drivers door glass is broken, which happened after the wreck ( the tow truck driver did it). The front bumper cover has a pushed in spot, so if you're handy with a heat gun, it's fixable. If you'd rather just change it, they're not that expensive. It has a custom paint job...sort of like a rainbow metallic over black. I think the whole truck should be sprayed once the repair is done, but that's my preference. The door handles will all need to be replaced as they have all broken in one way or another. The side airbags deployed, but the front ones didn't. The gauges all work, and everything is pretty much like you'd expect for a truck that was hit in the side. It runs and drives fine, and it would be a great truck when finished. The two-tone leather interior is in pretty good shape, and other than the obvious, it won't need a whole lot to make it nice. If you are a rebuilder, dismantler, exporter, or just a handy repair type person...then this is for you. It has a clean title, so all your work is not in vain. Some people buy salvage cars and spend all that time and money fixing it up, only to not be able to sell them because the title is rebuilt or salvage. So, I will say this again...this truck has a CLEAR TITLE! If you could live with the right rear door not closed all of the way, you can drive it home. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it any distance. I DO NOT have the missing rim. I DO have another set of matching 20" wheels and tires that you are welcome to take if you buy the truck. I DO NOT have any parts or pieces for it. This is just how I got it ... I had plans to fix it...but I'm not finished with other stuff...and I hate to see it going to waste. I move it around my yard from time to time...so someone can do more with it than I am. A trade is possible, but not likely. I would consider GM classic cars ( especially a 1965 Riviera or a 1965 Chevelle, maybe a 64-67 GTO, 66, 67, 69, or 70 Chevelle, 63-72 Chevy shortbed trucks, big block cars, 4 speed stuff, and air conditioning equipped vehicles), old stuff that doesn't need a lot of work, and possibly motorcycles ( I would love a Harley Road Glide). An affordable Street Rod, or a trade plus cash deal. Feel free to throw out an offer. NO JUNK please. If I was going to fix something, I'd fix this. Be realistic please. Feel free to call me at 941-740-2277, or email me at northshorebill@aol.com. Here is a small list of what I would trade for. Naturally, I'm open to anything if the deal is too good to pass up, but I'm looking for something like this: Harleys...Ultra Classics, Fat Boys, Road Kings, and Road Glides. Sport bikes, but they have to be big ones....no 750s or smaller. Old GM stuff...Corvettes, Street Rods, Rat Rods, muscle cars, classics, and they don't even have to be complete. They can be missing engines or transmissions, but I prefer good interiors and bodies...no rusty junk or big projects. Possibly, old Ford things, but I usually only like mid-60s Mustangs, Thunderbirds, or Lincolns. I'm not a huge Mopar fan, but some of them aren't bad. An incredible boat deal might work, maybe a Motorhome...and who knows what else. Don't be afraid to offer what you have, but don't get your feelings hurt if I don't want it. It's nothing personal... I just have to like what I'm trading for. I have a LOT of money in this truck....OVER $17k...and I know I'm going to lose on it. I have accepted that, but before give it away, I'll just send it to get fixed. I wanted the newer body style...so I bought it. They aren't cheap, especially with a clean title. Make me an offer I can live with, and I'll end the auction early. Naturally, lowball offers won't get a lot of attention...but I will respond to every email, even if it's nothing I want or a price I won't accept. Keep the offers and questions coming, and if you're a serious buyer...bid, bid, bid.
