up for auction is a 1971 honda sl70 99% original. the tires are original hold air but do have dry rot.original hand grips(EXT).the bike runs and shifts through all the gears like it should.clutch brakes work like they should.does not leak any oil.it does not smoke.the muffler has a dent on the very end of the pipe other then that it is in good shape. has some scuff marks on the paint and a small dent on the front fender.and a small dent on right side of tank very easy pop out. .i am not sure about the lights i never put a battery in the bike.i never took the lights off so not sure about the bulbs.all of the original wiring is in good shape it has never been cut in any way.the side covers do not have no brakes or cracks.they are missing the decals they are oem covers that came with the bike..the most i did was change the oil and order a original seat cover that comes with the bike. i rode it around our street quite a few times.you can tell by the pictures the bike has very little time on it.i am the second owner of this great little bike.the original owner lost the title so it will be sold with a bill of sale.the bike is being sold as is no warrenty.if you have any questions please e mail me.i have tride to describe the bike as well as i can.i will let you be the judge by the pictures.i will hold the bike for 60 days if winning bidder needs time to make shipping arangments.the winning bidder is responsable for all shipping costs and arangments.i will deliver to any shipping company within 50 miles of my home.a deposit of $250.00 is due at auction end through paypal.the remaining balance is due within 7 days by money order or bank draft. the bike will not be shipped until i have the money in my account.i only ship to the lower 48 states.please look at pictures before bidding.you must have a feed back score of 10 or more or your bid will be rejected sorry but i have been burnt before.thank you and good luck bidding.IT HAS THE ORIGINAL KEY. the bike is located in oregon.i am not sure how many miles are on the bike.but e bay wanted a number so i guessed. added 4/29/2011 nothing has been painted i did wash it with a garden hose.but it still could use a good cleaning.(i lowerd the price today 5/1/2011 i was going to check the front head light.the original owner put some kind of rubber sealant between the ring and bucket.did not want to take a chance on messing something up.maybe it rattled i am not sure.)
