AWESOME 71 Triumph TR6 You are bidding on a beautiful original "Matching Numbers" Triumph. Numbers match on the frame and motor. This Classic motor cycle has been with me for the past 20 years. This Triumph is missing very few parts. The engine has been gone through and has excellent compression. All the fins on the jugs and head are still intact and unbroken. Its had a valve job and new pistons installed and the bottom end was gone through before I stopped riding her the motor has maybe 200 miles on it after the rebuild. This is the triumph year that had the oil in the frame so its a pretty sleek look it still has the original dipstick under the cap. Just needs to be wired up and off you go, will come with a zener diode and the original points and condenser, I also have a brand new capacitor for her. The bike has original Triumph Logos on the tank, THere are matching aftermarket oiler and points cover with the horizontal fins which is pretty rare worth a couple hundred alone. The tyres are old but have plenty of tred and don't appear to have any dry rot. (She was stored in a cool dry place) The is almost no rust except for a little surface rust on the rims that with a little time and elbow grease will come right off. everything on the bike is original, except for the aftermarket taillight bracket oiler and points cover. Hate to see her go but my loss is your gain.This is a great bike. I used to ride her everywhere before I outgrew her. was in the process of restoring it before my Harley took a dump, so now I just need the money A down payment of $500 dollars is needed once the bidding has closed. Also On closer inspection of the tires the front is a dunlop and the rear is a cheng shin, and there is a little dry rot on them.
