This car is just as clean as it looks in the photos. Yes, it IS that clean! Some folks have said it even smells new. It is just as clean underneath and under the hood (see photos). This is a rare car. Most folks don’t even know these cars exist. This car is basically a P71 Police Interceptor, but better, WAY BETTER, with all the performance features from a P71 PLUS a lot MORE options than any police car ever got! It features power bucket leather seats with lumbar support (on both sides!) and a console shifter. It has the same 4.6 OHC V-8 the police interceptors get. The LX Sport has the lower P71 gearing, limited slip, traction control, performance springs, air leveling suspension, and real dual exhaust (sounds great!) for great performance. This LX Sport has a black P71 grille and a rear Marauder spoiler that look fantastic. I also have the original, body color, LX Sport grille. This LX Sport has the same premium sound system with CD Changer and Steering wheel controls that comes in the Lincoln Town Cars. This LX Sport has the original equipment Ford 17”, aluminum, sport wheels on it. The seats, steering wheel, and shifter are all leather. It has both remote entry and KEYPAD on the driver’s door which is really handy. It has outside temperature and compass with dual lighted makeup mirrors! I think this had every option you could get on an LX Sport. This LX Sport has only 78,004 miles on it, is straight as an arrow, has great high gloss paint, good Michelin tires, cold air, and doesn’t leak a drop of fluid. I am sure it has a ding or two that don’t show in the photos like any car of this age and miles. There is also a small 2” to 3” tear on the bottom edge of the front bumper cover where it has caught a curb. I have driven this car for the past year and it has been totally reliable. This LX Sport has many miles left in it as many regular Crown Vics record hundreds of thousands of miles since they have a great drive train and most parts are easily obtainable and very inexpensive to purchase. Driving this car is really fun. The black P71 grille stops traffic for you and you seldom get passed on the highway. The performance gearing and exhaust note are very enjoyable when maneuvering through traffic with the authority imposed by this car’s presence. I have added the Ford Special Vehicle Team (SVT) badging to the rear of the car for added conversation. This LX Sport is especially perfect for those who want to drive a really cool, reliable, performance car, but their family (I have 3 kids) has outgrown their Mustang, Corvette, or Camaro.
