Here up for sale is this Ford Explorer XLT 4x4 PICTURED BEFORE THE SECURITY LIGHTING WAS PULLED FROM THE WINDOWS. Motor replaced with the more reliable Ranger 4.0 Liter around 27,000 miles ago, it has never been abused VERY STRONG ENGINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Transmission (used) was replaced back in September 2010 or 1200 Miles ago. It may have issues but really cant tell sometimes there is a chatter going up steep hills it could be the rear leaf springs though, NO BURNING FLUID OR METAL so I really dont know. (Chalk it up as a possable bad transmission) It has also been upgraded to the HD tow package including a HD Fan, Cooler and tow hitch. It drives well, We sometimes drive the vehicle bi-weekly. It also had a leisure of a Security Patrol here in our park. AC Pump is shot but everything checks out.... May Need a Fuel Pump Regulator, in which causes the engine light to come on but later turns off during Hwy driving Fuel gauge does not work but other than the issues and discriptions mentioned It runs fine. 4x4 works and did great in the recent snow fall and had no problems. Nice control in the ICE here at our park. Pulled a few vehicles up our then icy hills and done an impressive job. I no longer work surveilance and community security and she is not driven much these past 16 months. I will include other extra parts I have not gottin around to install, even the original transmission. I bought a new vehicle and have no more use for this one, E-Mail any questions. BTW its getting 22.2 MPG steady at 65 MPH right now So far Max distance on a single 21 gal Tank-up was.
