Car garaged for many years, this low miles (123k) Jaguar has to go. Was given by grand parents to grand son but is way too much car for him. Selling as is at a very low starting price with no reserve. We replaced the interior head liner and worn leather portion of front seats so the interior looks good. We tried to fix the cracked wood dash but couldn't so the shop put a simulated tape on it (which looks better than before but not as good as the real thing). The car was completely gone over by a mechanic before being given to us but I think the new tires seem bigger than stock (but I am not certain). The paint on the hood is severely checked but other than that the exterior is pretty good. Only a couple little dings. New battery. Power on the power windows didn't work when we got it so we had them rewired and apparently they are missing an inexpensive part that we have no clue how to find to make work. Car is located in San Diego.On Apr-23-11 at 09:03:09 PDT, seller added the following information: The car runs strong. The power windows don,t work as mentioned although we have been told it's an easy fix if we have the part. The gas tank float or gauge is weak. It only shows a quarter tank when full. I have never tried the heater but I believe it works and the air works. I think all the lights work but can't remember ever driving at night. Although we have brand new battery we charge it before driving since it sits for months in between drives. I'm not sure if there is a short or what. If we drive it and then start it it starts right up without a problem so I know the battery is good. All other electrical seems fine. Overall the car seems strong and solid. One door ding on passenger side and one on the hood are the only dings. Chrome is in great condition with no rust problems. Paint is bad because of the previously mentioned checking. Much of the rubber has been replaced including new tires. When the wheel is turned all the way I believe it rubs against the wheel well which is why I believe the tires may be the wrong size but not certain. I hopes this helps.
