Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1964 Golden Anniversary Edition Dodge Dart convertible. Purchased from the second owner. Car is a true survivor, it is currently inspected and has antique tags and is insured for $5000. It runs and drives, was a project car for me and my son but son has lost interest so decided to part with it. The Dart has quite a bit of rust on the body panels but frame is solid. Previous floor patches are in place but you may want to redo them or not. All you need is a tuneup and carburetor rebuild and engine will run strong, no smoke. Engine is a Charger 225 slant 6. Due to its unique body style this car would make an awesome hotrod if done right. New radiator (copper and brass) just put in, this radiator is suitable for a V-8. All new front wheel cylinders, steel brake lines, brake shoes already done. Tires in excellent condition. Needs convertible top, hydraulic cylinder on the driver's side (available for $150 brand new). Parts for this car are available through Napa or any good auto store and relatively cheap. Should be a very inexpensive restoration or modification. I believe car has 138,000 original miles. 1964 was the first year that a V-8 could be put in to an A body without modification. The car is a blast to drive and with the top down this summer you would get a lot of looks. I look for any excuse to put it down. If you want to restore the car there are many reproduction parts available online at a relatively low cost. Have a clear title. Come take a look at her and/or give me a call and we can talk 302-252-7946. $500 deposit due within 48 hours of winning bid. Remainder due upon pickup of car (must be within 7 days), no shipping. Happy Bidding and good luck!
