LIKE I HAVE SAID EARLY IN MY OTHER LISTING , BECAUSE OF MY HEALTH I AM SELLING ALL MY MUSCLE CARS . AND LETS GET BACK TO THIS 70 CHEVELLE . THIS IS A VERY SOLID CAR WITH AN EXCEPTION OF A MINOR SMALL RUST SPOT OR TWO NOTHING SERIOUS, BUT VERY SOLID FOR THE YEAR . THIS IS A TEXAS CAR AS YOU CAN SEE , AND WAS BUILT IN CALIFORNIA AND IS VERY SOLID FOR THAT REASON , I DO HAVE THE BUILD SHEET AND PROTECTO PLATE , AND OWNERS MANUAL , AS WELL AS OTHER DOCUMNETS . WITH A TEXAS TITLE FREE AND CLEAR IN HAND . BUT THERE IS A ISSUE WITH THE VIN, PLATE , HALF OF THE VIN , PLATE HAS DECADE AWAY , BUT ALL THE NUMBERS ON THE BODY AND TITLE AND PROTECTO PLATE IS MATCHING . AND IT IS A CALIFORNIA BUILT CAR , THE FIRST 5 DIGITS OF THE VIN, IS VISIBLE . WHOEVER BUYS THIS CAR AND REGISTERS THIS CAR CAN HAVE A VIN , PLATE REINSTATED IN THERE STATE FROM THERE DMV OFFICE , WHICH IS NO PROBLEM, YOU ARE WELCOME TO HAVE THIS CHECKED OUT WITH DMV BEFORE YOU PLACE A BID . I WOULD PERFER YOU TO COME AND CHECK THIS CAR OUT BEFORE YOU BID. THIS CAR IS JUST WHAT I SAY IT IS , AND IT DOES NEED RESTORED , BUT YOU WOULD CERTAINLY HAVE A VERY SOLID MUSCLE CAR WHEN ITS DONE . THERE IS A FEW DENTS IN THE BODY , BUT VERY LITTLE RUST . I HAVE TAKEN PICTURES OF THE TRUNK AND FLOORS AND TOOK THE SEATS OUT AND CARPET SO YOU CAN JUST HOW SOLID IT IS . THE PAINT IS FADED AND WILL NEED TO BE PAINTED , I HAVE PLACED A BRAND NEW 468 BIG BLOCK ENGINE AND 400 TRANS , IN IT . THIS MOTOR IS FRESH AND NEVER BEEN STARTED . STILL NEEDS TO BE FINISHED BUT I AM JUST NOT ABLE TO FINISH IT . EVEN THOUGH I WOULD LOVE TO DO SO . I DO NOT LIKE SELLING THESE THIS WAY . I DO LIKE TO FINISH EXSPECAILY ONE IN THIS CONDITION . I HAVE ALSO REPLACED NEW WINDSHIELD , AND NEW FRONT INNER FENDERS . AND NEW FRONT A- ARM BUSHINGS AND BALL JOINTS . THERE IS A VERY SMALL HOLE IN THE FLOORS BUT WOULD BE A VERY EASY FIX. ALSO HAS BRAND NEW WHITE RAISED LETTERS TIRES AND 8 INCH RALLYS . THIS IS AN AIR CONDITION CAR AND DOES HAVE THE PUMP AND HOSES , I HAVE INVESTED ALOT IN THIS CAR AND THIS ENGINE . I KNOW ITS GOING TO BE A FINE MUSCLE CAR ONCE ITS DONE . AND SOMEONE IS GOING TO ENJOY THIS VERY MUCH .IF ANYONE NEEDS TO KNOW ABOUT THE CAR I WOULD BE HAPPY TO DO A WALK AROUND WITH THEM . FOR ANY QUESTIONS CALL 606-782-2576 On Apr-18-11 at 19:52:45 PDT, seller added the following information: i have had alot of questions on this car, and yes it is a very solid car for a 70 year model, this is one of the most solid cars that i have ever had to have not ever had any thing done to it, and this is not a show car by no means, but very easly could be , and one to last a long while, does have a spot of rust starting in the front floor on the driver side, and would be a very easy fix, and there is a little spot in the trunk, but you would have to look very close to see, and a little surface spot on both front fenders at the very bottom, and again, to have never had any body work this is a very good car for someone to start with and already has a very good start going on now, this car as you know needs paint , i had wet the car down before i took some pics so you could see just how straight the car is down the sides, i have invested alot into this 468 engine, and car alone just the way it is because i know how hard it is to find a solid 70 chevelle, and i do have the intereior and drive line that goes with it but as i have said it needs redone, i hope i have answered your questions, and if any more then just give me a call and i will be happy to do a walk around with you on this car or answer any thing i can, good luck and god bless
