Please see more photos and video of vehicle running at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/52033280@N03/sets/72157626502791946/ Vehicle Location: Buffalo, NY Title Rebuilt Salvage Title / No Liens / In Hand. General Description: Please understand that this is a used Jeep and it will be a fun project, or car to drive around town or great for a 2nd car. If you drive a long distance for work, or intend to go on road trips, this is probably not what you are looking for. It has nice features. 4 cyl. engine, standard shift transmission, hard doors and hard top. Please read the description and look at the photos carefully. I have tried to capture all the good points and the bad points. Please look at the pictures on eBay and on Flickr. I even have uploaded a movie to Flickr of the Jeep running. I would not drive this vehicle home! There seems to be an intermittent crunching noise coming from the rear axle. I am not sure what it is? I drove it around the block and it made the sound, but then last time I drove it, it did not make the sound. It is a great project jeep because it is solid! Look at the floors and body!!!) If you are from NY it is also nice to have a 1995 because it will not have to pass an emissions test in NY, so you can drop in a V8 or whatever you like and never have to hook up to the OBD II scan! Please note that the Jeep has a rebuilt salvage title as stated above! Frame: I inspected the frame for holes and cracks and it appears solid but there is surface rust as shown in the pictures. There is through rust on the rear cross-member as shown in the pictures. I would weld in a new rear cross member and the frame would be all set! Body and Paint: The body is solid but there is typical "Jeep Rust" as shown in the pictures. Please see the photos. (The Floor are all extremely solid. Please see the pictures showing under the driver side mat. Barely even surface rust! Definitely No holes!) The rear floors are really good. Engine / Transmission / Axles: The Engine runs very good and starts up and runs excellent. It does not smoke or make any unusual noise or leak any fluids. There is some squeaking coming from the accessories on the engine. But nothing major. The engine runs smooth and the transmission shifts smooth without any issues. The engine does not knock or appear to have any major mechanical issues. There is a crunching noise intermittently coming from the drive-line. I think it may be the rear axle but I am not 100% sure. Exhaust system: The exhaust system needs to be replaced. Exhaust systems for wranglers are extremely cheap! A complete cat back system is $186 on eBay. Steering and Suspension: Steering and suspension feel great. No issues detected when I drive it. Brakes: The brakes feel ok when driving around the neighborhood and the e-brake works! Interior: The seats, and dashboard are in good condition. There are no carpets. Please see the photos! Top Condition: Rear glass is broken. (The Jeep is stored indoors!) Other Items Available. I do not have any other YJ parts for sale, but they are really common and the parts are very affordable! Payment: A $500 deposit within 24 hours of the close of the auction is required. I will only accept cash upon pickup for the vehicle. Final payment must be made within 7 days of the auction close. Pick Up: If the vehicle is not picked up within 7 days I will charge $10 per day for storage. (I need my garage space! :P ) Please email, call or text me with questions: 716-583-0215 Feedback: Please see my most recent feedback on other vehicles that I have sold. I am fair and honest in representing everything to the best of my ability. Other details: This vehicle is represented to the best of my ability. Please review the listing carefully and look closely at the photos. I tried to photograph all the good points and bad points of the vehicle. Please note that this is a used vehicle and it may have flaws that I have overlooked. I understand that a buyer may come to pick up the vehicle and not be 100% satisfied. I encourage all buyers to inspect the vehicle prior to bidding to avoid any misunderstandings. For buyers that prefer to bid without inspecting the vehicle, I will provide the opportunity to inspect the vehicle after you have won the auction. I request a $500 deposit within 24 hours of the close of the auction for all purchases. I will refund $300 of the deposit if you inspect the vehicle and decide that you would prefer to not complete the transaction. Please understand the final bid price is the price of the vehicle and it is not negotiable upon inspection. Please also note that the vehicle is used and is sold without any warranty or guarantee. Once the vehicle is removed from my property it is 100% your responsibility including during the transport to your home after the purchase. I also request that all buyers provide auction feedback at the time of pickup on the vehicle to indicate that they are happy with the purchase and that the vehicle meets their expectations. Unfortunately some buyers purchase vehicles and then attempt to use feedback to "leverage" against future mechanical failures or disappointments. I would like to indicate at the time of purchase that you are 100% satisfied with the vehicle as it is sold and send you home happy! If you are not happy I prefer to work out the issue as a fair, honest and respectful person. I want to treat everyone exactly as I would like to be treated. So please bid with realistic expectations and take the time to look at the photos and description. Please do not buy this used vehicle and expect it to be as nice as a new car and use reasonable discretion when transporting the vehicle. If you have a long drive home, please use caution and have the vehicle professionally transported and do not attempt to drive it extended distances without a plan in the event of mechanical failure. About me: I like to shop for Jeeps and then offer them for sale on eBay. I have been a Jeep enthusiast for 15 years and I drive a 1997 Wrangler Sport every day. This is a hobby for me. I don't want to make a large profit. Just have a little fun. What value do I offer? I have owned over 20 Jeep Wrangler TJ's, so I know what to look for on them. I look at Jeeps logically, not emotionally. I review them for their typical problems. (Frame damage, severe rust, engine knocks, bad transmissions, transfer cases) "The big stuff". I have a 4 year engineering degree, so I have some formal education and I also like to fix things, so I have some hands on experience too. I usually buy low priced "projects" and offer them for sale online. I provide a service for people who want to sell a Jeep that may need work, and find a buyer who understands that the Jeep needs work. Please understand and respect that this is only a hobby for me and I will be honest and fair but I can not provide service like a dealership or manufacturer. Inspection Services: I can provide professional inspections on Jeeps for a fee. My inspections will cover similar information to what is provided on this auction. Service Advice: I have a full time job, so I do not have the time to fix vehicles. However, I can provide advice on where to take your Jeep for efficient and honest repairs. I will use a subcontractor to do all the mechanical work. I have developed relationships with many local mechanics in Buffalo, NY and I can save you money and headaches by avoiding the dealership and having your vehicle serviced by honest, experienced mechanics. Insurance and Financing: I can provide guidance on where to get your Jeep insured and I can also guide you to establishments for financing a Jeep. Trade In or Selling a Jeep?: If you have a 1997-2006 Jeep that you would like to sell or trade, please let me know! I am willing to accept some trades. (Usually only 1997-2006 Wranglers) So if you want to "trade-in" your Jeep, please contact me. I can pay cash quickly and help you find a newer Jeep. Parts: I do not have any other YJ parts for sale, but they are really common and the parts are very affordable! On Apr-22-11 at 16:14:24 PDT, seller added the following information: I scanned the jeep and the check engine light is "open / short detected in the ac/ clutch relay"
