Hello, I have a 1997 Honda Accord, Special Edition forsale. The car has been recently painted a Glossy Black (the previous color was tan). I recently put a rebuilt motor in the Honda it has 60,000 miles on it now. The original miles on the motor removed was around 232k the motor was blown. It has a rebuilt transmission as well. The Ebrake has been replaced as it was broke, now in great condition. The previous owner has had the car pre-wired for a stereo system, the car does not have the original stereo, it has been replaced with another.. (I have all the documentation to show the repairs of the motor and trans) I spent 4800.00 to have the motor and trans put in. I also have had the car painted that cost me another 2000.00. I ran a report it shows it had a accident, when I bought the car the back light was broke and a little damage to the bumper, there was no body damage. The previous owner told me it had been hit in the parking lot. I also seen a lien (previous) but again, I was told there is no lien on the car, I had it smogged and tagged with no problems... The car has a clean title. Not salvaged. The Honda is a nice looking car, I had the inside cleaned (it's a 1997 so the interior is not new). There are no dent's on the car at all. The body is straight. New tail lights, New windshield. Clean window's no tint.... I originally was going to keep the car, however I have decided to go import. This is a great looking car and will run forever. I put alot of money into it already, so my loss is your gain. This car would be great for a commuter! Any questions, please ask me......thanks!! I have to look at the paper work, but im pretty sure that's what I was told when the work was done. I will confirm with the winner on the day of pick up. The rims are 3 honda rims and one Acura rim, and a center cap missing on one of the honda rims. I just noticed it when I picked up the car from the paint shop. The other thing I wanted to add is that whoever the winner is can bring the car back in 2wks to get the car wet sanded and buffed. The reason it has not been done yet is the car is newly painted. It will take about 2 wks to really really dry. On Apr-03-11 at 18:24:38 PDT, seller added the following information: I drove the honda around the block today and turned on the air conditioner and heater to find out that it doesn't work. It turns on but makes like a rubbing sound effect on level 4. Level 1, 2, 3 have no noise but Max at level 4 makes this rubbing noise. I am assuming that it needs a new "air cond motor" Sorry, i did not post this earlier however I honestly didn't even turn it on until today. Blinkers, Brake lights, Head Lights, Electric Windows, Electric Sunroof, all work fine. Now I have noticed that the windows go down and up sometimes? I have no idea what this is?
