Vehicle Detail
1998 Camaro Z28 1998 Camaro Z28. 86500 original miles. Automatic. 5.7 liter 350 ci V-8. T-Tops Adult Owned & Driven NOT beat up & Raced This is one awesome Z. I am the second owner. I purchased it approximately 19 months ago in August 2009. When I bought it I added the following: BRAND new two tone orange and black upholstery and door panel inserts. I liked the look of the 35th anniversary edition seat covers and wanted orange and black so even though the Z is a 98 the seat covers say 35th anniversary edition, Here is a list of some of what I added to car: New upholstery & door panel inserts, projector beam LED accented headlights with Halos, smoke tinted custom tail lights, rear window louvers, two pillar gauges for volts and vacuum (these light up your choice of 7 colors or can be set to change colors), LED accent lights in center console and armrests as well as dash, custom stainless steel gauge cluster surround, clear euro rear side markers, clear Euro front turn signals, Orange racing stripes, orange pinstriping, stainless steel look dash and console inserts, brand new fog lamps that look way better then factory, orange Camaro and Z28 decals over black factory emblems, new custom nose emblem, new shift knob and new emergency brake handle, red LED lights in rear, and much more. Car has Stainless Steel Dual exhaust from Street Legal Performance and it is awesome! Deep throaty sound! The "SLP" windshield banner in orange stands for Street Legal Performance. Car has a brand new battery (only 1 month old), T-tops do NOT leak and NEVER have. The Car has a B&M Shift plus kit which is an electronic shift kit which allows you to drive normally, shift for street racing if desired or Drag Strip. ( I never use it). When I purchased the Camaro it had hook ups for NOS in the engine compartment and hoses running to rear for it but no switches or bottle were present. The lines and hook up are still present if you ever wanted to add a bottle and power switch. The car has the "SS" hood and rear spoiler. The paint is original and is in VERY nice, very shiny condition. It gleams and turns heads. Of course when you get right up on the car you will find the normal tiny stone chips on front fascia but absolutely nothing that detracts from it's beauty. Car has a current NJ State Inspection sticker good through 11/11. The car runs STRONG and fast. I do NOT race this car around. I am 53 years old, not a teenager. I baby this car and only drive it on days when the sun is shining. Everywhere I go the car gets major looks and compliments. It has an AM/FM CD player. Car needs a Freon charge for AC, the front speakers in door panels need replacing (I use the rear only) and when I put the Icabahn handle on the emergency brake it isn't functional. The E-brake is all hooked up but I didn't connect the new handle to it. I don't ever use an emergency brake so I don't care and I drive the car with the T-tops off so I don't care about cold air conditioning. Brakes are good all the way around, tires are about 65% all the way around. Car is VERY sound mechanically with only 86500 miles and runs like a beast. The three things I listed, speakers, freon and e brake are the only things wrong with car. There is NO nicer 4th Generation Z28 out there. People are asking more then my reserve for V-6 Camaros and piece of junk V-8s with 150000 miles and more. I will NOT reveal the reserve no matter how cleverly you try to get it out of me. If somebody is a SERIOUS buyer then they know what they want to pay and will bid accordingly. The auction is for PURCHASE of the car, NOT for the right to come tire kick afterward. If you HIT the reserve and are the HIGH bidder and winner of auction you are required to complete purchase within 7 days of auction close. A $500 deposit via Paypal is required within 24 hours of auction close and balance paid in FULL within 5 days of close. You MUST pick up the car within 7 days. The buyer is responsible for ALL costs of shipping and shipping arrangements. I cannot deliver car.
