Your looking at a one of a kind classic mustang, This isn't a trailer queen, or councorse car, but its not priced as one of them either. This is a super nice 'driver' that can be driven on nice days, and entered into the car shows, and she will take home trophies. Best of all, She looks amazing now, and she is only going to go up in value. This car is a FACTORY 289 V8 engine, with a FACTORY 4 barrel carb motor. For a 64-66 mustang to be a true "GT" it has to be a factory 4 barrel 289 motor. I restore classic mustangs for a hobby, and I did this cool stang a family member who was un able to pay for it at the last moment. His loss is your gane, this car is done right. The mustang spent most of its life in sunny California, so it has NO RUST, (thats main reason why I bought it, to build it for a family member). The motor and automatic trany were both rebuilt last year. (less than 5,000 miles on them). The body got the GT350R race package, and a custom 'shelby' tail light package. the car has less than 1 mile on it since the restoration. (no rain either) -I will get video of it when I drive her to church sunday -unless it sells before then. It has: Factory Power Steering Factory Power brakes -upgraded to a brand new DUAL brake system Factory Tinted glass NEW high-performance handling kit (beefy GT sway bar, and a NEW rear sway bar) Factory A/C car (AC has been removed, but adding it on this car is a snap). "Factory" Dealer Option: Tork Thrust D 15" tires with BRAND NEW performance rubber on all 5 tires. New aluminum radiator (won't overheat in parades). Hipo chrome, engine dress up kit, NEW: hi quality seet upholstery, carpet, headliner, chrome interior parts NEW door rubbers, seals, gaskets etc, all new! EVERYTHING works, even the fuel guage works! and it has NO fluid leaks, shes got a good tight motor. It will be a gread weekend driver or even a nice grocery getter for the next 15-20+ years, and you should be able to sell it for more than you pay for it. Its a TRUE A-code mustang GT, not a wannabe 289 2 barrel C-code! Detailed History: I bought this cool mustang last fall, and stripped it to a shell, it didn't need to be a frame off restoration, as it was rust free. All glass came out, It got NEW springs, a REAR SWAY BAR. The rebuilt motor and trany went in. The inside of the mustang was stipped too, It was painted blue, and ALL NEW chrome, and rubbers, and a NEW headliner came into her. The Engine bay was also detailed and the jams painted blue too. The trunk was detailed and painted blue. Zero Rust. It got a trunk matt, and a tork thrust D spair tire. The body had NO accidents, only a few dings from shopping carts, and people leaning on her. So it has NO BONDO, it was Stripped down to factory primer, and was professionally re-painted. (progress pics included with the car). The Shelby scoops, were added, as with the Cobra gt350R front valance (bumper deleate). It was painted base coat clear/ coat with a extra metal flake in the clear coat. She got a dual exhaust with glass packs, (sounds mean)! and a lot of detailed new parts went into her. To be a concourse car she would need more money put into her. But if you want the best bang for the buck, this car is it! Its book value is $24,000.00 low, and $29,500.00 high. Expect it to flat out stop traffic when you roll past. - of course, if they don't notice her, a little rev on the throttle will get attention.
