1959 SUBURBAN LT-1 POWERED CLASSIC 4L60E 4 SPEED AUTOMATIC CAMARO SUBFRAMED WITH POWER STEERING AND POWER DISC BRAKES FORD 9 INCH REAR END ALL NEW STEERING, SUSPENSION AND BRAKE COMPONENTS ALL NEW GLASS RUNS AND DRIVES AMAZINGLY---FLY IN AND DRIVE HOME CRUISES AT 70 MPH AND GETS 18 MPG This awesome classic Suburban belongs to a friend of mine, and he asked me to list it on ebay for him. I know the vehicle pretty well, and I rode in it when we took the pictures today. It is titled as a 1959, and its not a kit or homemade vehicle. It runs and drives great, and sounds even better. The LT-1 is smooth and powerful, and the transmission shifts perfectly. It stops straight, steers effortlessly, and it is truly a classic you can get in and drive anywhere. You can fly in and drive this back any distance without any worries. It runs cool, gets great gas mileage, and cruises nicely. It has synthetic fluids in everything, and nothing is needed to take it away. Though it doesn't come with a warranty, it's been driven about 3000 miles since it was built, and any issues were resolved as they came up. It has a new A/C compressor mounted on it, but the rest of the A/C system will be required (other than a condenser, which comes with the vehicle). The reserve price will not be disclosed, but I can say that it is about half of the amount of money spent building it. It's not a showroom or museum piece, but it is an incredible driver in great condition. It would make a great advertising vehicle, a family vehicle, or everyday driver. You might want it for weekend cruising and car shows, or maybe you want to make an even better street rod out of it. It is a great vehicle at a great price. The vehicle will not leave my possession until all funds have cleared. Cash, wire transfer or certfiied funds are best and will speed up the process, but cashiers checks and personal checks will work...but once again...it will not leave my garage until the funds have cleared. Shipping is the responsibilty of the winning bidder, but we will assist you every way possible to help getting it loaded. We reserve the right to end the auction early in the event we get an offer we can't pass up. The owner is 70 years old, and he built the vehicle. If you need to speak to him directly, I can get you in contact with him. He has 3 other street rods that will probably be coming up for sale soon since he is losing his storage space and doesn't have a place to keep all of these toys. Please ask ALL questions you may have prior to bidding, and please have your funds in order as well. This Suburban is being listed to be sold. NO GAMES please. Lets make this as easy as possible. Feel free to email me at northshorebill@aol.com or call me at 941-740-2277. Please leave a message if there's no answer and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks for looking, and good luck. On Apr-13-11 at 12:10:27 PDT, seller added the following information: Just so everyone knows...the front end...hood, fenders, and inner fenders...are from a 1956 Suburban. The 1959 would have had 2 headlights per side. It bolts right up without any modifications. If you wanted to convert it back, it would bolt right back up again. I wanted to clarify because we have had several questions. It is titled as a 1959. Also, it has all new belts, hoses, tensioner, and pretty much everything else.
