Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is the latest Streetfighter from Helrich Custom Cycles. This will be the last bike in this style I will be selling to the general public for the next year or so. I have a number of other bikes to build that will be a departure from this style, so if you want one, this could be your last chance for a while. This bike has been completely rebuilt from the ground up. The motor, 650ss 5 speed, has been torn apart and rebuilt from the sludge trap up. New bearings, seals, clutch, primary chain, etc. This motor also has a 750cc big bore kit with new pistons and rings. From the stance you can see the front end has been lowered 2 inches. Everything has been cleaned and polished. The frame was made in a jig and tig welded so that everything is straight and true. Almost everything on this bike is custom made or modified to get the exact look I want. Everything on this bike, except for the gas tank and the fender, has fresh powder coat. Custom seat with a heavy leather pad and copper rivets. For a hard seat, it is comfortable. This bike also has all new electronics. I installed a new high output stator and rotor in the motor, new Boyer micro power ignition and a new Boyer powerbox. With the Boyer powerbox this bike runs without a battery. Also to avoid confusion this bike has a negative ground. For your convenience there is a high/low switch on the left handle bar and a kill button. None of the usual Triumph electric issues with this bike. The bike has a new set of Bridgestone Spitfire tires, and new wheel bearings. For a bike that is almost 40 years old, it is as new as it gets, and better than when it rolled out of the factory. This bike has a clean and clear title in my name, so getting it legal will be no problem. The bad: at some point the left fork slider drain screw stripped out. It does not leak, it will just make changing the fork oil annoying. There are also a couple jaw marks on in fork tube. Triumph says the fork oil needs changing at 6,000 to 8,000 miles. Also the powdercoat on the rear hub, not the rim, is a bit flawed. It has inclusions which make parts of inner hub slightly matte/bumpy. I tried to take a picture of it, apparently the camera does not pick up the flaw, but you should know that its there. I have described this bike to the best of my abilities, however if you have any question, or need me to expound on anything please feel free to message me. I can set up shipping for this bike at the buyers expense. I can also ship internationaly, however it is the buyers responsibility to certain of local laws pertaining to custom motorcycles. There is no warranty expressed or implied, and the buyer assumes full responsibility once payment is made in full. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time as this bike is for sale locally. If you have any questions please ask. Zero or less that 5 feedback bidders please contact me before bidding. Negative feedback bidders will be canceled.
