Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo Show Car which has had one private owner (me). I purchased this car originally from a Nissan Dealer that had it in their showroom for several years after it was featured at the Blackhawk Auto Museum as the "last of the Z" cars. It includes all of the original museum materials as well as the window sticker. It also includes the certificate of authenticity (#247 of 300) as well as a car cover. I bought this car as a collector and intended to go to many auto shows, but I got busy and only went to a few. As luck would have it I only ever entered in one time and one the Best of Show for the stock category for the Florida Statewide Z-Fest. I added J-Spec (Original Equipment Japanese 300ZX) HID Headlights ($2000) and tail lights ($450). I do have the original headlights and tails boxed up and kept safe, if you want to return the car exactly back to US specs. I did this for show purposes and to make the car even more modern as the headlights are outstanding at night. The interior still smells new as it is has been driven only by myself (a non-smoking adult). There is not a flaw on the interior of any kind as I have treated this car like a museum car all the years I have had it. I did replace the tires 2 years ago, as I had one tire fail due to road debris, but I still have the original 3 remaining tires. The tires have less than 3000 miles on them. The car has never been wrecked and as you can see, the paint is like new. I will say that I am a perfectionist and I did notice that the front has a few rock chips and light clear coat scratches from our Central Florida roads, but overall the exterior just glows! The car has the following additional features: Factory Tan Leather Factory Radio w/original BOSE speakers Factory 3 Disc CD Changer HKS Digital Boost Meter I encourage you to come see the car if you would like as you will not be disappointed. I have received many questions about this car, so I will try to sum up the answers for clarification for everyone: 1) The car has never been painted and has all of the original body panels. Truly, I am not mis-representing the car when I tell you it is as close to new as any 300ZX you will ever find. 2) I will consider the selling the car oveseas, but only if all arrangements are made for shipping by the buyer and all transactions must be through eBay. 3) According to my research, there were fewer than 5 of these cars made in this color combination in 1996 and I believe that only 3 are still on the road in the US as at least one was totaled before the year 2000 and one is contained in a museum. So, not only are you getting a rare numbered 300ZX, but you are also getting a rare color combination with very low miles. 4) The miles on this car are the original miles. I bought the car with 528 certified miles from a Nissan dealer that had it in their showroom for many years. I have put 9500 miles on the car in the 8 years that I have owned it. 5) The car has been fully serviced. All fluids have been changed (brake/clutch/cooling) and it has no mechnical issues of any kind. 6) The BOSE stereo is original. Nissan updated the BOSE system in 1995 to incorporate a differential input on the speaker amps, which greatly eliminates problems that I have experienced myself on earlier years of the 300ZX. This also ensures that cell phones do not interfere with the signal. The entire Bose system is original and has no issues.
