Very nice classic Ford. Loaded, restored, 7.3 diesel, 4x4 F350 XLT. Looks very sharp with the custom two tone paint. I have used it for the past six months to plow my driveway and a couple of my commercial properties. Always does what you ask it to. Very stout. Handles the 9' Fisher Plow with ease. With a thousand pounds in the bed it is virtually unstoppable. Pleasure to get in and use. About $11,000 in recent work: At 150k the previous owner had remanufactured transmission installed - $3,800 receipt. At 136k the oil pan was replaced along with along with a bunch of other stuff - $2,885 receipt. I put it through the shop last fall and had $2,000 worth of mechanical work done: complete new brakes front and rear, four Monroe shocks, all fluids and filters changed, an aftermarket stereo with MP3 connect and remote (amp behind seat and speakers were already upgraded). Replaced headlights, wiper stalk, windshield, sway bar bushings and links, wipers, plow cutting edge, nerf bars, muffler with downspout, wheel hub locks, alignment etc. Also had $2,500 worth of body work done: any areas of rust were addressed by cutting out around rear wheels, new metal welded in, sides stripped and painted matte black. Bumpers and winter wheels were blacked out also. Two of the four bed rails were soft so they were removed and replaced with pressure treated 2x4's. Plow was blasted, patched and painted. Undercarriage was descaled and undercoated. Since the work was done the truck has been kept in my heated garage and rinsed down, top and bottom, after each plow. Interior is in very good condition with minor wear on drivers seat. Dash isn't cracked and everything works as it should. Areas that could be improved: ABS light is on. I decided not to fix as it is not an inspection issue and would only control the back wheels anyway and the roof top strobe is only working on one side. Summer tires on alloy rims are probably 50% and the four mounted winter tires are 35%. Rear fuel tank was removed. The front is plastic and holds 20 gallons. Range of 400 miles on highway seems plenty. Spare tire is good but carrier is missing. Red paint appears to be original, not faded and has deep shine. Small scuffs here and there as you would expect. Plow control is handheld fishstick. Plow does everything it should but is not new and will not respond as fast nor hold an off center load as well before compressing the arms. Truck goes down road mint. No shakes, smells or odors. Would drive anywhere. Looks nice enough to use every day and will pay for itself with plowing and/or towing. A/C, power windows, power locks, cruise all work great. Equipped with trailer brake. Starts fine in all weather and has block heater for extreme cold. Manuals in glove box with notations by original owner at services intervals. Two keys included. Clean and clear title in hand.
