1991 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 This car was driven daily by me for over a year until I purchased a new car. The 5.0 still performs good, and the body is in need of attention. The car was purchased by me as a project car that someone else had started on, but didn`t finish. Here are the negatives The car has air leaks(needs weatherstripping), No outer side molding, A minor oil leak(1 quart per 2 weeks), Need 2 headlight housings(headlights DO work),needs 1 marker light cover, both rear speaker panels functional(but need replacing),rear windows need adjustments(will go up and down w/help), Car has push button starter(wire in steering column burnt out).Here are the positives New battery, New solenoid, New plugs, wires, rotary button, distributor cap, New ignition box, New coil pack, New battery cables. This car runs very well despite its appearance, it has a automatic tranny that has just been flushed with a New strainer and it is very fast with 69,000+ original miles, if you have a little bit of money and a whole lot of time this car is the car for you its a one of a kind project car, if i did not need the money to buy a truck i would not be selling my dream car.
