This is a neat little 2003 Ford Ranger that was totaled out by the previous owners Insurance company and will be an easy repairable for anyone and will be a good running and valuable pick up.
The engine sounds good and transmission shifts good as well. I did a short test drive as you will also but this truck will need to be trailered home because the plastic tank on the right side has a crack from the damage and can be seen in the pictures. This is something that can be repaired or easily replaced when the repaires are made. The damage is what can be seen and include left front fender, left side marker, left door, windshield, wheel and tire. The spare is on the left front and was on when I received the truck. The original tire was gone and was the jack also? The left front tire looks to be back a bit so that is why the insurance company had installed the spare. I have pictures of the left & right front suspension and no damage can be seen to the frame or suspension but ya can figure that a spindle will be needed on the left front. That is not a major concern but that usually happens when something makes contact with a tire or wheel? This is just what I can see and assume from past experience and passing it on so ya know what you will be getting into.
The overall truck is in good condition and looks to have been well cared for and should have much life ahead of it. There is no rust, hail dings or old damage. This truck can be bought and repaired where it will make and excellent resale product or a great daily driver. These little 2.3 engines get good gas mileage and that's a plus now days!
The interior is just as the pictures show and will satisfy whoever buys. The air blows cold and the seats are very comfortable with the reclining bucket seats. The interior looks and smells as to not have been smoked in.
