1974 Suzuki RL250 Trials Bike. This bike was only sold in the US during 1974 and 1975. Bike is a "barn find" survivor in very good condition and would be a good start for a restoration project. The bike had not been started in over ten years,so I cleaned the carb and gave her some fresh premix and she fired right up! Motor runs great and is very solid with very good compression. However, she is going to need crank seals as she smokes quite a bit. The fuel tank is aluminum and does leak and will need to be repaired. This is common on these bikes with the aluminum fuel tanks. Frame is solid and the fenders are not cracked. As you can see in the photos the seat has two splits in the back due to the age of the material. The three mounting tabs for the airbox are broken, but are still there and can be reattched. Bars are after-market Renthals. Due to the age of this motorcycle there is no warranty and I do not have a title for the bike. Please remember this bike is 37 years old and it is not a museum piece.
