Vehicle Detail
History I purchased this vehicle in Mannheim, Germany in March 2004 while serving overseas in the military. When I purchased the vehicle my goal was to turn this vehicle into a street/track car. The plan was to work on the interior first, followed by the exterior, and finish my project by installing a race engine. Idid complete the interior and exterior along with some mechanical/engine work to the car. Gradually over time I have lost interest in the car, especially after having kids. Now I figure its time to sell the car. I am the 3rd owner of the vehicle since its production. I have some of the records/ inspections from the previous owner, however the records are in German. Upon completing my duty assignment overseas, the vehicle was stored in Germany from March 2007 to May 2008 to avoid having to convert the vehicle to D.O.T Specifications. Once the vehicle was 25 years of age the vehicle was shipped to Houston, Texas. Since owning the vehicle I have maintained all documents including service records. The vehicle is currently registered and inspected. Exterior/Paint The paint job on this vehicle is immaculate. In November of 2009 the vehicle recieved a fresh paint job in the original alpine white color. The door jabs were also painted and the complete car was wet sand and buffed. All the main body seals and trims were also replaced i.e. sunroof, rear hatch seal, main door seals and hood insulation. A new Porsche badge was also installed. The european fog lights, sidemarkers, and rear bumper also enhance the appearance of the car. Engine The engine on the vehicle has been well maintained. The timing belt along with main engine seal were replaced in 2006 a year prior to storage. The labor was done at the Porsche dealership in Manneim Germany. A new radiator was installed in 2006 along with thermostat, thermo fan switch, and radiator cap. A new DME fuel relay and engine temperature sensor were installed in September 2009. A new battery was purchased and installed on October 26, 2010. Other modification include: LR adjustable height solid engine mounts Adjustable fuel pressure regulator Fuel pressure gauge Stainless steal fuel line Throttle response cam Intake boot MSDS 3" ceramic headers SFR 2.5" stainless exhaust Interior The original Porsche seats were removedand replaced with Corbeau forza clothe black seats with lumbar support. 3" 5 point harnesses were also installed along with a Heigo roll bar. The orginal gauges on the vehicle were removed and sent to North Holly Wood, CA to be customized. The odometer was rolled back to zero when the gauges were sent out to be customized. The gauges were converted to a white background and blue L.E.D. lights. An a- pillar with a exhaust temperature gauge and vacuum gauge was also added. Underneath the passenger dashboard you will also find a Split Sec air fuel ratio gauge. Other highlights of the interior include: New carpet Momo pitstop e-brake handle Rennline foot pedals Momo millenium stearing wheel and hub adapter Momo F16 shifter with leather boot SFR short shifter New floor mats Dash cover Sound System The head unit on this car is an Alpine c.d. player model CDA9884 with ipod adaptor. The orginal speakers were removed and replaced with Cervin Vega 4x6 plate speakers. The rear seat was also removed and a custom fiber glass enclosure was installed adding a 10" Kicker Solo Baric L7, a 1.2 farad digital capacitor, and a 600 watt Kicker class D mono amp. Underneath the carpet and doors of the cars interior you'll find Dynamat xtreme sound dampening material. Tires The vehicle is equipped with Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 tires. The tires were purchased new and installed on November 29, 2010 at Discount Tire. The fron tires are 205/55ZR-16 and the rear tires are 225/50ZR-16. Suspension The suspension on this car is stiff. Judging by how the car sits in the front I believe that stiffer springs were installed in the front by the previouse owner, however I do not have any documentaion to confirm. The rear shocks I are Boge. Extras Included is a Stormtech indoor/outdoor custom car cover. VIN WP0ZZZ94ZDN406536
