Vehicle Detail

$8900 Is what it takes to buy it! If you're interested please give me a call @ <6I9>889-9579. I will do a buy it now for a serious buyer and reserve the right to end auction at any time. This is a 1 owner, all original, Rust free, life long California 1965 Lincoln Continental convertible. The most sought after and desirable of the slab side Lincoln's. Still wears its original paint so you see exactly what you're getting. Both front and rear original California black and yellow license plates. Bought new here in San Diego and has never left. She's been sitting in dry storage since the 80's. True California barn find. It obviously needs to be restored but has great bones! Its 100% complete and original. It should be an easy restore. No hunting around for missing parts. Its all there! All wiring is unmolested. Top system still has hydraulic fluid in it. Nothing has ever been messed with. Very dry rust free car! The body is straight with a few minor ding and scratches here and there. The undercarriage is solid as a rock! No rust! No patching! just nice dry and original. The deck lid is another place these cars are know to rust and this one is very nice! Convertible top frame is xlnt! The only rust anywhere on the car is one small spot about the size of a nickel on the bottom of the passenger doors. Thats it! Very minor and an easy fix. The interior is actually pretty decent! No cracks in the dash. All of the glass is perfect! No rips or tears in the seats but they are getting dry cracked from age. Door panels are all nice! All of the trim is nice and straight. The bumpers are straight but have patina and some surface rust. Nothing through. It still has the original 430 V8 with factory AC. Front disc brakes. As far as the motor goes Ive never tried to get it running. So no guarantees there. It may run it may not. It will definitely require some work. My plan was to drop a Corvette LS1 backed by a 4L60E in it but just don't have the time. Its a great car for someone to restore! The deck lid and top frame are worth more than what im asking for the car and almost impossible to find but I think the car is way to good to part out. It definitely deserves to be put back on the road again. TERMS OF SALE - non refundable 1,000 deposit due 24 hours after auction ends. Car needs to be paid for in full within 3 days. Car is sold as is. I will do everything I can to make this a pleasant buying experience but PLEASE do not bid on it if you do not intend to buy it or if you do not have your finances in order. Its not cheap to sell cars on eBay and it just wastes everyone’s time. Shipping is buyers responsibility but I will be happy to assist if you like. Usually $300-$1000 door to door anywhere in the US. I live in San Diego and would be more than happy to pick you up at the airport to view the car in person. Thanks for looking!
