Vehicle Detail
Selling for a close friend. This car is located in Van Horn, TX. Up for sale is a 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu. This car is a running driver/project, but has a bunch of nice features. It has a powerful 307 V8 with Edelbrock air cleaner and valve covers, chrome alternator and much more (look at the pics). It has a Holley 4-bbl carb. It has an automatic transmission. The interior has recently been redone and is nearly complete. This is a lifetime Texas car and therefore has little rust when compared with most of this age. It has a clean undercarriage with no rust-through. Rear quarters will need some work, along with the damage to the body as pictured-it will likely need a driver's front fender and door skin. The odometer reflects 49497 miles which is thought to be correct. It is classified as a "project", a car that runs and drives but will need several things if you want a driver. We picture it being made into an SS clone-it's a great start that could quickly turn into a really nice car. Overall it's a very solid start and could become a fun cruiser or profit maker pretty quickly. Please ask questions before you bid. Since I am listing this car for a friend over 1000 miles away, please contact him directly with questions. His name is Jamie and he can be reached at 203-231-4765. He can assist you with any further information needed for a purchase decision. Because of it's age, this car is sold as-is. However, we will guarantee that it starts and runs fine, the transmission shifts up and down correctly, and that it can run down the street and back. We cannot guarantee it passes any inspections in your home state. Deposit of $500 due to seller within 3 day of the end of auction, with payment in full and pickup of the vehicle no more than 10 days from the end of auction. Both payments can be made with certified U.S. funds or with paper money. Thank you for looking, and good luck bidding on this classic! On Apr-05-11 at 19:11:17 PDT, seller added the following information:Some of you have been asking for a VIN number: 1d37f2r510078 Also, I have been asked several questions relating to pricing. Both the seller and myself believe the auction is the way to get to the real value of the car. If you cannot wait-please call him at the number I listed in teh auction.
