This is a 1964 1/2 Mustang with the original 289 Hi Performance V8 engine and C-4 transmission. The D code was the only model of 1964 1/2 Mustangs to come with the 289 engine. This is a very solid project car that can easily be restored to its original condition. I believe the car still has the original Wimbledon White paint and Blue interior. Original AC car. There are a few rust spots around the car, so it does need some body work, but for the most part the body is very solid. The spot on the rear driver side is from where some ahole backed into it, but it's not too bad. The brakes will need to be bled and the drums possibly replaced. Up until last week, the engine fired up and was really strong and sounded great. Right now the engine turns over, but wont start. I'm guessing its the starter because the battery is new. The car has a new gas tank, but when changing it out, I noticed the fuel lines should be replaced soon. I've tried to tell you as much of the negatives about the car as possible, but as you can see from the pictures, it's a pretty sweet car and its a rare D code. The car comes with a clean title and also has the original black CA license plates. Well I actually only have one plate, but I believe you can have a replica made if you really wanted to. Also, one cool thing to note is that the car was manufactured in Dearborn, MI which is where production of Mustangs began, so this is one of the originals. Here are the Original specs of the car...
