Vehicle Detail

REALLY GREAT 99 BOXSTER WITH HARDTOP--$10,500 I purchased this car in November 2007 from the 3rd owner with 44K miles with a clean Carfax. This has been an excellent car. I am 65, a PCA member and I take very good care of my Porsches. I have driven this car almost 50K miles and enjoyed every mile (just turned 93K miles). I have done regular maintenance as well as replaced parts which are normal with Boxsters—list below. I drive from Boston to Hartford twice a week which explains the miles. The car is in great shape & has Dunlop Sport Maxx tires with 10 K on them (which are excellent, BTW). All electronics and accessories work as they should & there are no warning lights on. It also has a pretty nice array of options which sets it apart from most Boxsters. OPTIONS Silver/Metropol Blue/Blue Top Hardtop X97 & X98—Aluminum Knob & Parking Brake Handle 981—Full leather Interior 982—Soft or Draped leather seats 222-Traction Control 224- Active Brake Differential 396- 17” Wheels—colored crest hubcaps 424- CD Holder 454-Cruise 490-Hi-Fi Sound 535-Alarm 531-Windstop 696-AM/FM/CD XLA-Boxster Exhaust Surround · The car has original paint except I had the front bumper re-sprayed due to stone chips. There are some stone chips and some small scratches, but I do not think there are any dents. All-in-all the car is very nice in terms body appearance. · The top has some scuffs due to rubbing from up-and-down (pictured)—this is common on Boxsters. The top has no holes, functions perfectly, does not leak and has a new rear window. There is also a cloth shield to protect the rear window when it is down for the cold weather & hardtop is in place. · The outside temp thermometer has been programmed on & the fog/driving lights have been modified to stay on with the high beams. · I added a steering wheel crest & sill plates. Both sets of keys & owner’s manual, service records, maintenance manual included. This has been a great car for me & I believe it will be so for the next owner. Clean title in hand. $7,190 in Maintenance since I have owned it. (have older receipts from prior ownership) · 12-07-45K Major Maintenance—flush brakes, replace brake hoses, replace oil separator ($1,400). · 4-08 Replace Mass Air sensor & all 4 O2 sensors ($755). · Replace Rear Window ($750). · 9-08 Replace Serpentine Drive Belt ($244) · 1-09 Replace Rear Wheel Bearings ($785) · 4-09—Major Maintenance—replace cabin filter, replace coil pack, flush transaxle, brake fluid and coolant—($1,650). · 4-09 Replace Water pump & thermostat ($866) · 8-09 New Dunlops ($740) I retired the car from “Daily Driver” duty in the fall of 2009 & have been using it just on nice days since then. Really nice car & driver—don’t miss it!
